| Dome raisings are social events, much like barn
raisings. In addition to being fun, they give us an opportunity to
show off the advantages of our panelized dome system. In the space
of one to two days, with friends and family, scaffold and our supervision
we can get a complete, framed and sheathed shell raised, including
riser walls, natural opening walls (framed for your doors and windows),
cupola with walls, extensions, and dormers with window wall and triangles
with curbs for skylight. With other dome systems it can take weeks
or even months to get to the same level of completion. This means
that not only do we make it easy for you, we save you many hours of
expensive on-site labor while building in quality and production capability
for the next phases of construction. We do all this including on-site
dome raising supervision for a competitive price.
We love to have many people join us for these special occasions. If you are in the area for one of the following events, let us know and we'll give you directions and times. When time is short ask for a map and give us a fax number. Watch this page for changes in schedules. For a preview of what happens at a dome raising, visit our Raising page.
All dates listed are approximate and often change due to weather and construction schedules. Dome raisings not listed have not been scheduled or are not open to the public.

People are remodeling
existing domes with PVR and/or cupola added, sometimes roof issues
and new panels. When skylights in top of dome start to fail,
a cupola might be the best solution. We have provided panels
for Oregon Domes, of course, Cathedralite and Monterey.
